I have developed and fine-tuned my timber deeds and sale contracts over an eighteen-year period, and have sold timber for many attorneys who used my contracts, and not their own. This deed is designed to protect your rights. It has provisions in it that scare away the poor quality or unscrupulous businessmen, yet is very realistic and fair for the good contractor.
You know what your timber is worth. Knowledge of this gives you more power in receiving a better price. I give you a "Minimum Acceptable Bid" value. If the price offered is less you have the right to reject all bids. This is a no lose situation!
